Exciting Development

History lays the foundation, the future drives the company into a new era! As Pilgrim enters into one of it’s most exciting phases in its history we are pleased to announce an exciting partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University, which will enable the company to focus on Product Development. Pilgrim and Manchester Metropolitan University managed to secure a three year Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) from the UK Government. The objective is to inject knowledge into Pilgrim’s product development capabilities by giving access to a wide range of Academic resources and utilisation of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), while also allowing the University to work along side a commercial business. As part of the project Pilgrim are proud to announce that Mr. Jared Kitchen joined the Engineering Team as Product Development Engineer. David Charles – Engineering and Product Development Manager stated “This is the start of an interesting journey for Pilgrim, and one that show our valued customers that we are committed to ensuring that we help our Customers reduce unnecessary costs by developing solutions for their bolting applications”.
